The objective of this project was:
- To maximize air circulation/ heat transfer from the fire place in the living room, to the kitchen, separated by a load bearing wall
- To enable verbal conversations between individuals in the separated rooms with visual contact

Scope of work
- Designed to make two rooms separated by a wall to be functional together without affecting the structural integrity
- Cut wall opening and temporal support installation
- Framed around the opening
- Drywall hung, mudded, tapped, sanded and painted to match existing colour
- Addition of light fixture above wall opening and new door bell
- Oak live edge and trim installation
